David B. Sable MD, PhD

A native Bostonian, he is a board certified dermatologist with a special interest in skin cancer surgery. After graduating from Tufts University, Dr. Sable completed a PhD in chemistry at the University of California at Berkeley. Returning home to New England, Dr Sable then attended Tufts University School of Medicine where he received his doctorate of medicine. After his internships in pathology and medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's/Faulkner Hospital both Harvard teaching hospitals; Dr. Sable at completed his dermatology residency at the Detroit Medical Center where he was honored for his teaching and leadership skills as Chief Resident.

Dr. Sable completed his Mohs surgery fellowship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, the birthplace of the technique. Mohs surgery, an advanced technique to remove skin cancers while preserving as much normal tissue as possible was developed by Dr. Frederic Mohs at the University of Wisconsin in 1936. Mohs surgery affords the highest possible cure rates for skin cancer and the least chance for a cosmetic derformity.

In his spare time, Dr. Sable enjoys many of the outdoor activities that living in Florida provides.
